2021 Spring Barrel Tasting – April 22-23 and April 29-30

from 11L00 am to 5:00 pm

Come to Agate Field and enjoy tasting our Premium red wines that exhibit a lovely fruit forward introduction with a rich body and lingering silky finish.

We will be serving our slightly sweet new 2015 release Semillon white wine, it is refreshing with a smooth pleasant flavor.  Introducing and pairing our new release 2010 Tessa red wine, 2009 Moon Rider cabernet franc and 2009 Drifter Syrah with our Dark Chocolate Brownies.

Agate Field is proud to once again serve our locally made large carne asada burritos for only $5 on Saturday.  Pass holders will receive a free tasting and all discounts for the weekend, including 10% off wine purchase over $30 and 15% off wine purchase over $75.

We will also be having discounts, up to 40% off 6 bottles and up to 65% off cases, of selected wines.  We look forward to seeing you!!

Our famous brownies

We’ve had so many requests for our brownies, we thought we would share the recipe with you! Enjoy!!
Agate Field Dark Chocolate Cake Brownies
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

 ½ c. sour cream
1 stick margarine
¼ c. dark cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 lb confectioners’sugar
1 c. water
1 c. chopped nuts

Sift first 4 ingredients together into bowl. Combine 2 sticks margarine, cocoa and water in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Add to dry ingredients; mix well. Combine eggs and sour cream in bowl: mix well. Blend into batter. Pour into greased and floured cake pan. Bake for 25 minutes. Combine 1 stick margarine, ¼ cup cocoa and milk in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Add confectioners’ sugar and vanilla; mix well. Spread over hot cake. Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
Pan size:10″ x 16″ Yields:15 servings
